NGC1515 Galaxy in Dorado

This SAB(s)bc barred Spiral Galaxy is locatetd in the constellation of Dorado,deep down in the southern skies.It was first seen by John Herschel in 1837.Apparently sized 5,4′ × 1,3′ and

shining with an magnitude of 11,3mag,its an easy object for mid-sized telescopes (>6" aperutre).It is memeber of a small galaxy-group,called the NGC1515-group
