NGC 1261 Globular Cluster

NGC 1261, also known as Caldwell 87, is a well defined globular cluster in the constellation Horologium.
It is virtually embedded in some peculiar very distant background galaxies. The distance to this cluster is at approx. 53 000 light years.

LRGB (L 15x5m, R 15x5m, G 15x5m, B 15x5m) total 5 h combined. Seeing 0.8-1,2 arcsec
